Birthday Eve

>August 3, 2010

Dear Logan, On the eve of my 26th birthday, I cannot help but think about your birthday. Nearly 6 months old, and I nearly 26. You are growing up right before my eyes. It is hard to believe that I am a mother. I have never wanted anything more in my life and the moment you came into my life as a wee little blueberry growing in my belly I knew we were for each other. God hand picked you to be my son and for 6 months we have been teaching each other how to love one another, how to laugh and play and see the world from God’s eyes. Your presence in my life is priceless. You are the most pleasant baby to be around. I may be biased, but our friends and family can’t help but love on you. Your smile and babble is the most joyful thing. You wear your heart on your sleeve, just like your momma. You’re curious and want anything in your hands and mouth that does not belong to you, specifically electronics. You cannot roll around fast enough. You want to be mobil so badly and nearly jump out of our arms. There is nothing in this world more precious than being a parent and the child God has blessed those parents with. I pray each and every day that you know your Savior and love Him as we do. Thank you, Logan, for making me a mother. No present in the world comes close to your smile. Love, Momma

Dear Logan,

On the eve of my 26th birthday, I cannot help but think about your birthday.

Love,

Momma
