Currently...24 weeks!

This week has been SO much better than last. It all started on Tuesday when I was having a serious hormone and stress-induced meltdown in my office. I was so completely overwhelmed by the three classes I was taking that I was certain I had to change my work schedule to make it work. Then came the voice of reason from my sweet husband who encouraged me to just drop one of the classes. I had not considered that option and the moment I clicked "web drop" I felt a weight lift from my shoulders and everything has been so much better this week. Not to mention I have been drinking coffee in the am which totally helps my mood and keeps the headaches away.

Logan IS CURRENTLY....

WISHING he could possess control of every single light bulb and lamp in existence  specifically in our house. He has incredible hand-eye coordination and can twist off the top of a lamp, remove the shade, and twist out the light bulb. Then he take the bulb to another lamp that already has a bulb, removes it and replaces it with the bulb from the first lamp. We have really cracked down on him NOT doing this as it's just not safe. And he hates that.

MISSING his little cousin River who lived with us. He's only a few months older and of the three children, R is the one he talks about the most. Breaks my heart.

WORRYING about our DVD player pausing/skipping his Curious George shows all.the.time. He wants to take the thing apart and fix it, or for us to do it for him.

I AM CURRENTLY....

LOVING ice packs. God-send for this low back/tailbone pain. I try to ice every night after work for like, an hour.

WISHING that my body loved pregnancy as much as I do.  Seriously, I feel like I'm already in the third tri. Everything feels so heavy and the aches in my back are making me waddle already.

CRAVING milk shakes! I have to make them at home with lactose free ice cream and almond milk, which has turned out awesome!  But I do miss the only thing good that McDonalds offers and that is their vanilla milk shakes. Mmmm

MISSING my energy level. It's below zero right now.

WORRYING kinda sorta about the little baby bean. He/she is measuring a solid 2 weeks behind right now which could mean a  number of things, including genetics, wrong dates or worse, IUGR or SGA. We will have another ultrasound at 28wks to check things out but for now, everything is okay.

how far along? 24wks, measuring 22wks.
total weight gain: 19.5 pounds
maternity clothes? yes.
sleep: not too bad this week. Lots of crazy dreams.
best moment this week: Logan feeling the baby move.
movement: Oh yes!
sex: team green!
labor signs: none
belly button in or out? getting flatter.
food cravings: vodka pasta sauce, ramen noodles
what i miss: The warmer weather. I just want to play outside with my son!
what i am looking forward to: Logan's birthday next week!
weekly wisdom: Every pregnancy, even for the same person, is different.

Currently...20 weeks!

TWENTY WEEKS!! I feel like this is one of the best milestones in pregnancy. For me, 10 weeks, 20 weeks, 24 weeks and 35 weeks are the best milestones. 10 weeks feels like you're pretty much out of the woods as far as a potential loss is concerned. Then 20 weeks is HALF WAY!! 24 weeks is viability and 35 weeks is almost term, meaning you can emotionally prepare for your baby to come just about any time.

Overnight, the belly and this baby have popped. I just know baby is going through a growth spurt. Suddenly, every part of my low back, hips and sacrum is screaming at me each time I sit down or stand up. Baby's position must be sitting just right to make all these aches happen at once. Plus, I carry my babies low so I know that contributes. Regardless, each ache is worth the reward in the end. Grow, baby grow!
HK

Wishing... I could enjoy more alcohol. We were given so much wine over the holidays and I have to wait 5 more months before I can enjoy it. I'm certain that, by then, we will have quite the stock. Maybe we will have a "meet the baby and drink my wine" party.

Thinking...about how I've lost a friend, emotionally. The last week has been rough. I'm more angry than anything else, but it's still really hard.

Cooking...nothing. I try not to cook when I'm pregnant and we have had so many left overs from different get togethers. We are working our way through that.

Drinking...coke, water, juice and tea. The coke is to ward off an oncoming migraine and I am loving peppermint teas.

Working...my holiday. I worked on New Years Day and it was slow, but easy. Also working on getting the Christmas decorations put away and keeping the house cleaned up.

At 20 weeks....

  • Eating: Edemame!! OMG why did no one tell me about this before?!

  • Wearing: maternity clothes. Some longer tops/tanks still fit but I'm pretty much done with my regular clothes.

  • Gaining: some weight! I think my boots added an extra pound or two, but apparently I gained 5 pounds in the last week. Makes sense if this baby is going through a growth spurt!

  • No fun: low back pains

  • Way fun: seeing baby bean on the screen on Monday and learning I no longer have a placenta previa!!

  • Big brother is: insisting baby is a girl and he calls her by her name. I love it!

Currently...17wks

I know I know!! I've been MIA from an update for a few weeks. I just feel like this pregnancy has been a lot harder than the first time and it's hard for me to write about. But first, currently I am...

Reading... tons of blogs. I am out of school now for winter break and I have time to catch up on a ton that I do not frequent as often.

Listening to... lots of Christmas music. I love Christmas and I love the music. O Holy Night is my most favorite song.

Hating... all the little issues I've had the last two weeks.

Laughing... at my kid. He is so dang funny! Two nights ago he told me to go to time out.

Ignoring... nothing. I am so in-tune with everything right now. It's kind of driving me a little crazy! So hopefully things will settle down soon.

At 17 weeks...

  • Eating: TONS of Caesar salad. I love it.

  • Wearing: Regular clothes up until this morning. The pair of pants that still fit are dirty so I had to resort to my mat pants for work and am so much more comfortable!

  • Baby is…being awesome. I got to see his/her little face two days ago and everything looks great (with the baby).

  • Differences: Gosh, everything seems different. I did not have any infections with Logan and I am fighting two different ones right now. UGH

  • Predictions: Still thinking (and HOPING!) this baby is a girl.

  • No fun: Low back pain. Ouchies! And finding out a I have a complete placenta previa. More on that later.

  • Way fun: gearing up for Christmas! We have two family parties this weekend. Oh and my cousin is moving out today! So bitter-sweet!

  • Undecided: On how much to share. It's tough. B is way more private than I am, which is why I have strayed from sharing too much about some of the issues going on. Just know the baby is doing great!

HK

Anticipating...the day my cousin moves out. That sounds bad, but it's not. She's anticipating it too. We are all ready for her to be on her own and continue taking the right steps to starting over.

Buying...some maternity shirts and some new black boots! Let me say this: I hate maternity shirts and hope that I really only need them in the end. They are gigantic and unflattering. I was able to find some nice shirts that were just more flowey and non-maternity. Love those shirts much more!

Needing...a year long nap. I mean really, bears know where it's at with their hibernating business. I have been so tired lately I can barely function into the evening. Been going to bed around 830!

Thinking...about what books to read when school is out for winter break! I have a few new ones on my kindle, only one of which is pregnancy related.

Ignoring...all the political out-roar, both out in public (a car said "RIP America") and on FB. I know most people have been pretty tame, but wow. Some have been downright mean and I'm not going to give those folks the attention they're seeking.

12 wks with Logan, braving a bikini!

How far along? 12wks
Total weight gain/loss: +8.2 pounds
How big is baby?  Size of a plum!
Maternity clothes?  sometimes, still trying to make the belly band work as my work maternity pants are just too big right now.
Sleep: Meh...I have been going to bed really early and while I am exhausted, it still takes me a little while to fall asleep. But then I stay asleep.
Best moment this week: We heard an amazingly strong heartbeat this morning! Right at 170BPM.
Movement: none yet
Food cravings: peanut butter, smarties, pasta, anything with tomatoes
Food aversions: none
Gender: Team GREEN!
Labor Signs: na
Symptoms:  very tired, some round ligament pains here and there.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Stretchmarks? none
How are you feeling? So tired. I know, I keep saying that but seriously, I've been happy and in a pretty good mood most of the time, minus some stress here and there, but very VERY tired.
What I am looking forward to: DU hockey game on Saturday night with B.
What I miss:  WINE!!
Weekly Wisdom: Going to bed before your child is okay.
Milestones:  Heard a heartbeat! Almost out of the 1st tri!
Pregnancy Moments: So happy that B was with me this morning to hear our baby's heart beating away!

Currently...11wks

(11wks with Logan)

As I've already said, this pregnancy has been so different than my first with Logan. I know all pregnancies can be different but I am truly surprised by how night and day they really are. First of all, I cannot BELIEVE I am already 11wks. Feels like just last week we were finding out! This time did not seem to go as quickly with Logan. I remember the 1st trimester dragging on and on and that that the 2nd trimester was much quicker. Secondly, all my cravings, symptoms, etc are just different. Most of the morning sickness is gone. Only every so often will I feel yucky and like nothing sounds good to eat. Also, the fatigue is wearing off, which is nice (though as I type I am really tired--must be from getting up early to do my face make-up!). Last time I feel like I was tired forever. All the time. Staying up past 9pm has been nice.

And can I just say WOW to my bump?! I seriously had to go back through my photos to see what I looked like last time (thank goodness for those photos!) and this bump is more defined, for sure. Click the link above to see for yourself. Another major difference is how laid back I am about all the aches and pains that are normal. I feel like my experience and education in pregnancy and childbirth has eased my mind. I know that if the pain is sudden and goes away, it has to be round ligament pain, which I had lots of last time. I know that if it sticks around, I can call my midwife and she will tell me what to do. But guess what? I have only called her ONCE this entire pregnancy when I had food poisoning. Last time, I called the nurses all.the.time. I knew them all on a first-name basis. Maybe it was a first-time-mom worry or just that I did have a few issues. I have not had any spotting whatsoever, cramps, or anything else which might be concerning. I feel so lucky this time. I feel so blessed that I know what my body is doing and is capable of.  Do all second timers feel like this?

Our lives are in such a different place this time, which must be why it feels like the weeks are just flying by. My cousin is living with us, I'm in school, working full time, and dealing with a toddler who fights his naps and doesn't go to bed until 10pm (more on that later). Whatever these differences mean, I feel positive that all is well. We should hear a heart beat next week (Thursday) when I'm 12wks.

Stats:

Total Weight Gain: 4.5 pounds. I lost a pound somewhere in there last week. I'm sure after all the candy I've been enjoying that my weigh in on Monday will be different!

Continuing Symptoms: fatigue, though less often.

Maternity Clothes: I love maternity pants. The belly band is working out fine, but not having to readjust it every so often is nice!

Sleep: sleeping well!

What I’m Eating: I am a walking cliche: I ate 3 pickles without stopping last night.

Cravings: salty things, smarties, BBQ chicken, spaghetti

Movement: none

Labor Signs: n/a

Special Pregnancy Moments: When a co-worker pointed out how cute my bump is looking. I love getting to that point where I finally look pregnant and not chubby!

***

Logan is currently...

Loving his dinosaur costume and plastic pumpkin bucket. He was very excited to take it to school today and he carries his pumpkin around the house and puts odd items in it like socks and a stuffed kitty.

Looking at everything out the car windows. He is constantly telling me "Mama, look at that ______!" Fill in the blank. Car lights, moon, orange sky, school bus, truck...you name it.

Cooking water. The kitchen is not the most kid-friendly arena in our home right now. I feel like once the space is just our own again I will let him in the kitchen with me more. But for now, he is obsessed with taking my egg beater/salad dressing maker and filling it with water and ice and then passing the water between the cup and other bowls. He loves water play!

Catching a cold that's been caught. We're going on almost 2 weeks now and his cough is just terrible, however he has no other symptoms and just has to ride it out. We treat it with benedryl at night to help him sleep and the same if he's extra snotty in the morning.

Missing his grandparents. He talks about them every time we are in the car. His memory is amazing. I picked my mom up one day and took her home. The next several days after he kept asking if we were going to pick up Lolly. I hate meeting that question with a "no, not today honey".

I am currently...

Loving being pregnant again. I loved it the first time and I love it again. I love the experience and how growing a baby simplifies the important things in life.

Looking for boots and some damn leggings!! I've looked everywhere. I think I tried on 30 different pairs of boots this weekend and NO place I went had a decent pair of legging. I'd like to live in those for the remainder of my pregnancy and one pair is not going to cut it.

Cooking very little lately. I'm not much for cooking anyway and even less so while pregnant. The microwave is my friend. And my cousin, who's an amazing cook.

Catching up on Call the Midwife! I did not realize I'd missed three episodes! So I caught up yesterday and oh, how I love that show!! I love how ever birth is depicted with real, raw labor and pushing and that not every birth is dramatic (as shown in TV and movies so often). I could go on forever.

Missing my family out East. There little beach town is under water and sand right now. I wish I could be there to help clean up.

Currently...10 weeks!

I am currently.....

Worrying about my sanity. My plate is so full right now. I need a major break from EVERYTHING.

Listening to lots of classical music at work. And sometimes, nothing. I rarely get a moment of silence right now and classical music is mellow, calming and peaceful.

Wishing that I was a stay at home mom who could send my kid to day care and sleeeeeeeeeeeep.

Observing the lovely snow outside!! So pretty!

Considering who I am going to vote for in this damned election. There, I said it. This election sucks and is so hard for me. Ugh I cannot wait for it to be over!

10 weeks

Total Weight Gain: 5.5 pounds. Still all in the girls. ;)

Continuing Symptoms: Nausea had gone away for several days, until today of course. I'm also still really tired, even if I get 10 hours of solid sleep.

Maternity Clothes: Since my belly is growing more, the belly band is working out better, so no not this week.

Sleep: sleeping well!

What I’m Eating: Whatever sounds good. Right now, nothing sounds good and I usually resort to chicken noodle soup on days like today.

Cravings: I was craving pasta yesterday.

Movement: none

Labor Signs: n/a

Special Pregnancy Moments: Nothing more special that STILL being pregnant!! That is always such a blessing. I wanted so badly to make it to the 10th week. Even though it is still the first trimester, I felt like that was a huge accomplishment health wise. Grow baby Grow!!

Currently...

I am going to start including a weekly or biweekly bump update with the currently posts as I feel they can work together. Find the bump update below.

Logan is currently....

Feeling like a two and a half year old. He's been extra stubborn, saying "no" to just about everything and doing the opposite of what he's asked. I've been told that three is worse than two and I think that might be true.

Drinking juice and milk, his faves.

Looking for something for him to get into that he's not supposed to be messing with. He wants to mess with anything mechanical, switches, buttons, etc.

Dreaming of going back to the farm. Logan loved the animals and the pumpkins, he's asked to go back almost every day this week.

Making his own decisions. Since I'm in a human growth class, it is very obvious that he is in a "just right" stage in which everything must be just right for him. For example, he refused to take his pjs off yesterday morning and so he went to day care in his pjs. Not the battle I'm willing to fight.

I am currently.....

Feeling yucky most days. I'm insanely tired, nauseous and overall not in the best mood.

Drinking tons of water! Gotta stay hydrated!

Looking for ummmm I'm not sure. I have sat her an thought about it and I have no idea what I'm looking for! haha

Dreaming of SLEEEEEEEP.

Making an effort with everything I do. Pregnancy is so much harder with a toddler, full house and busy job.

***

9 weeks

Total Weight Gain: 3.5 pounds. I lost a good pound last weekend with the food poisoning.

Continuing Symptoms: nausea, fatigue, hunger

Maternity Clothes: ummm I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm in my work mat pants now. I was just too uncomfy and my belly band is annoying.

Sleep: sleeping well!

What I’m Eating: just about anything. Not a fan of meat right now.

Cravings: Veggies, greasy foods

Movement: none

Labor Signs: n/a

Special Pregnancy Moments: I suppose a little bump qualifies. I love looking pregnant and everyone at work points it out to me. A boss even asks if I'm having twins and as far as I know, just one is in there.

Logan is currently....

Watching netflix. I swear this is a total life saver when I am feeling super yucky, which is most of the time right now. He love Curious George (like Kale!), Barney and Rugrats.

Reading .... ummmm I'm not sure. I've been a terrible parent lately and have fallen off the read-to-your-child-every-night wagon. I'm not proud of it and our home is a mad house right now so for now, he is read to at preschool.

Eating very little. The kid is like a bird. He pecks at things here and there. We are going through a lot of tummy upset with him and I'm not exactly sure what is causing it. We know he is lactose intolerant and that, in the past, cheese was fine. Now I don't think so anymore so we are cutting all dairy and whey out of his diet to see if anything changes. He does love breads, fruits, and cereal the most right now.

I am currently.....

Watching Call the Midwife on PBS. I had to cut last nights episode short as I was not feeling good and went straight to bed. I love this show!! It is wonderful and I love watching it with Heidi.

Reading only school-related things and some blogs. No books right now. I can barely sit up straight by the end of the day let alone concentrate on a book.

Eating very little as well. I mean, I am eating often, just very small, bland things and I really cannot even think about food right now.

Inspired by the nurses I work with. They are amazing. I hope that people realize that when they are in the hospital that their new best friend is their nurse and that the doc spends less than 10 minutes on his rounds. It appalls me to see a patient totally disrespect their nurse.

Thinking about my prenatal appointment I have in 20 minutes. Praying it goes well!!

Loving... the fall, cooler weather! It's actually cool enough in the morning that I have to turn the heat on in the car. I'm excited for thick socks, hot cocoa, tall boots, and wearing cowls.

Devouring... everything in sight. I've been so hungry lately and my weight has been stable. The change in diet has been working out so well. I rarely ever have pains. But food oh food how I love food!

Giving... a lot of time to school work! And it's paying off! I have an A in medical term and it ends this week! WHOOHOO!

Grateful for...my cousin. Having her in our home is so nice. We share clothes and she makes awesome dinners! I love it. And I'm so grateful.

Going... to watch Hunger Games tonight! WOOTWOOT! I love this movie.

***

In other news, don't watch Cabin in the Woods. Worst movie ever! But Silent House was pretty good. This has been an incredible week! So many changes and good things happening. School, work and home life are all just awesome.

It's been a few weeks since I've been able to do this and of course I'm a day late. I had a light day yesterday with classes but the last thing I wanted to do was read or write. This has been a very exhausting week. I cannot get enough sleep. Thankfully, tomorrow is my morning to sleep in. Do you and your hus trade days for getting extra sleep? We do and we look forward to it so much! So yeah, every two weeks I get to sleep in for ONE DAY! It's something nice to look forward to. Carry on...

Wishing... I had better nail-painting skills. I seriously suck at it as there is hardly a hair of girly-girl in my bones. I beat my hands up pretty good during the day and my nails are no exception so when I get a fancy fun new color to try out, it lasts all of 3 hours before there are nicks and scratches. Ugh.

Reading...so much! Let's see...pregnancy & lactation nutrition, phych stuff, and Child of Mine, a book on feeding yourself, family and children healthy things. I'm also listening to Matched.

Eating...pizza! It was the only thing this week that was not on the menu. My sister-wife, aka cousin, is gone for a few days and her cooking is amazing! So we ordered pizza last night and it was delish!

Missing...alone time. We take it for granted. I have seven people under our roof right now and while it is fun and amazing that Logan has more playmates, I have not had one quiet moment to myself. Even at night, Logan has been having issues going to bed so he has been falling asleep with me and he talks my ear off until he does so.

Anticipating... a crazy weekend with four awesome kids.

And as I've been typing this out, a newborn has been interrupting my thoughts with minute-old cries. What an incredible sound!

Just me this week. This has been one hell of a week! I wish yesterday was Friday. Moving on:

Searching for... a number of things. Guidance, patience and an easy way to adjust to the changes coming.

Making... pinterest ideas come alive! Photos will come soon, I promise!

Feeling...Exhausted, overwhelmed, tired and not very hungry for some reason.

Going...to Texas in two weeks, which has to do with all of the above and more. Until then, I need a week off just to sleep and adjust.

Logan is...

Wishing... he could eat doughnuts all day, stay in his pool all day, and do just about anything he's not supposed to. He's been quite stubborn lately as he learns more ways to communicate his feelings.

Reading... Curious George Christmas. I think we read it 2-10 times a day.

Cooking... burgers with daddy. He loves to watch us do anything on the grill or stove. As he is able, he helps. Otherwise he just enjoys being able to see all the action.

Anticipating... a new home day care in less than two weeks! Being around kids his age is just going to rock his world!

Missing... me. :( This kid, almost every morning, tells me to stay home or just "two more minutes". Kills me.

I am...

Wishing... I had not been sick last week. I never want to get the flu ever again!

Reading... I'm listening to Harry Potter Book 1 and reading Spiritual Midwifery by Ina May here and there. Oh and birth stories.

Cooking... Not much lately! B has been cooking most nights since I have been so under the weather. A few nights ago my mom made us salmon (B a pork chop) and last night we grilled burgers. So tonight I plan on spaghetti.

Anticipating... School to start! Just over a week and I am a college kid again! WOW I am so excited!

Missing... My cousins, especially Heidi. Gaw I hate how far away we are from each other.

Enjoying the splash park with his Lolly (grandma). She takes him almost every Tuesday on their special day together and this week he FINALLY got wet. The kid loves water, but only when he is in control of it.
Learning  how to use our new iPad. I downloaded a Mickey Mouse interactive game and he loved pressing the screen and singing along. It was awesome. And, apparently, he can do the hot dog dance but only does it for his sitter, not us. lol
Inspired by his best buddy Elliot that he's ready to be a big  brother. ;)
Becoming smarter by the minute! This kid, I swear he blows my mind with how he remembers something the first time he hears it.
Indulging in a later bed time, for both our sanity. He gets up way too early and he's been enjoying staying up later with us to watch a show or read more books.

Sarah is currently....

Enjoying my new iPad. Duh
Learning how to write and time with a brace on my right hand. I don't know what I did to it or how, but for three weeks its been bothering me so I went to the doc and had some xrays. Should know whats up by tomorrow.
Inspired by my twitter friends. Seriously, I am building up a great community of other birth junkies and it feels so good to have a network of people who are just like me. :) Oh, and the FIVE minute birth I was at on Monday! Read about it HERE.
Becoming anxious for school to start! It's making sure I have everything ready to go oh and Logan starts at a new home daycare on the 21st so that makes me anxious too! lol
Indulging in ummm not much. Sadly I'm just hanging out. I'm so over 50 Shades, otherwise I'm sure that would have been my answer. ;)

I'm sending out some love today to Randalin because I am certain this is the only thing that is keeping me blogging right now! Our computer at home is not working and writing has been difficult with the move...I know. Excuses. But thanks dear for something constant to look forward to on Thursdays.

Loving... My dishwasher! No, seriously. I spent the last YEAR hand washing dishes 2-3 times a day and now that I can just rinse and pop everything into the dishwasher, all while keeping the kitchen looking clean and de-cluttered really has me in love with this amazing invention. If you've ever lived without a dishwasher, you know what I mean!

Wishing... I was more into the 2nd 50 Shades book. But I'm not and I don't know why! I mean, I CRIED at the end of the first book and here I am stuck on chapter 4 or something and I'm just...bored? Over it? Not sure...

Missing... a 4 day week. For the last several weeks, I've had at least one day off due to vacation, moving and a holiday. This is the first full week I've worked in almost a month and I want to curl up under my desk and go nigh-night.

Laughing at... So You Think You Can Dance auditions. The dancers are amazing, but there is something so comical about them this year! The twin brothers who were too old for the show?? Loved them!

Dreaming... of more sleep. I have been lacking sleep lately. I tossed and turned last night which means I'm not dreaming anything, just that I'll actually fall asleep!

***

This has been a craptastic week. Really, I'm so ready for it to be over. Nothing specific, lots of little things and I'm just not in the best mood. So there.

Currently...{week...6??}

I'm totally late to the party today! First of all, I am so thrown off from having a day off in the middle of the week. Yesterday did not feel like a holiday and today does not feel like Thursday. Then I remembered that it was Thursday and that I better get myself over to the best party on the block with Harvesting Kale. So this is what we're up to:

Logan is...

Inspired by: water. I'm stealing this from Kale because Logan has made a 180* and not only does he love his baths, he is dipping his head in his water table, going swimming, playing in the sprinkler and going to the splash park. Obsessed doesn't even come close to how he feels about it now.

Devouring: yogurt. Let me remind you, friends, that Logan is lactose intolerant and yogurt contains milk and lactose. So technically he should not have it, however he can tolerate it (so it seems) and he asks for it all.day.long. No other snack satisfies.

Thankful for: our new home! This kid loves our new house and I am so glad! He talks about our new home and new everythings (stairs, bathroom, his room, etc) all day long.

Watching: Barney. UGHHHHHHH

Starting to: discover his manhood. I am all about teaching him about his biology and the CORRECT terms for all his body parts. He is very proud to know what he has and has no shame letting us know it. ;)

Mama is...

Inspired by: Pinterest. Now that I have my very own home with my very own walls and cabinets and bathroom...all I want to do is find more inspiration on how to make our home more personalized and comfortable.

Devouring: 50 Shades. Seriously, the books are like a chocolate ice cream bar that is melting in the sun that, if not eaten quickly enough, it will be all over you.

Thankful for: My husband. Cliche, I know. Since we moved, I have pushed all the stress and shit down into a place I didn't want to confront and it all spilled out a few nights ago. I let the wave hit and I was a mess. Not so much a blubbering mess, but I was angry, cranky and just ready to throw my hands up. Unpacking is SO daunting. And I couldn't take it anymore so B went out and rented The Vow for us and I shed some good tears over that. Thanks babe!

Watching: The Glee Project. You guys, this show is almost BETTER than Glee. Yes, I just said that. And I love it. That is, when I get a chance to watch it.

Starting to: become very excited about school! Only 8 weeks left of summer and I'll be back to books, deadlines, papers, midterms and finals. AHHH!

Link up!

Making...myself pack. I hate hate HATE packing more than almost anything. And I hate moving. I want someone else to do all that fuss for me.

Listening to...Logan's laugh. Lately, he has been all giggles (when he's not demanding something or fussing from the two new molars poking through). His laugh stops me dead in my tracks. Totally intoxicating.

Craving...broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl at Panera.

Laughing at...Zombieland. This movie tips into the lame category every so often, but I really love Woody Harelson. "Where are the twinkies?!"

I'm working on a few different vacation posts. Bare with me while I get my family packed and ready to move next week. I'm still going to be vague about that so, hang tight.

Currently...

Reading...Giving Birth by Catherine Taylor. I've been reading it for awhile and am loving it.

Loving... how close I slept with Logan last night. He was having a rough time getting to bed, it was crazy-hot in our house and laying with him in bed was the only way to make him happy. Our first official full night of co-sleeping. Other than B vacating to the couch, it was a great night.

Eating...Paninis. I have two at work, one for today and one for tomorrow.

Drinking... Sweet tea.

Looking forward to...Duh! Our vacation next week! It is all I can think about. My mind has already checked out!

In other news...

There was an insane storm that missed us, but really hit towns south of us. Lots of rain and hail. Since it was so hot, I'm glad it didn't rain here! Rain=closed windows without AC.

Work has been a bit stressful. A few mistakes have been made, not intentionally, but I just hate when that happens! Even if I have nothing to do with it, the stress makes me feel somehow responsible.

I haven't had a run this week yet and I really don't care! I know...I will try to get one in tonight or tomorrow.

I found a new game on my phone called 100 Floors and it's rather addicting.
