Surgeon said there is no infection and the abscess is healing well. The pain/discomfort I am experiencing is due to the healing, which is a good thing. I can stop taking the antibiotics. He did not say that I needed to stop breast-feeding, but that emotional stress can hinder many things like healing properly and milk production.
